Business Launch Coaching

Practical Coaching to Take Your Idea From Stuck to Launched

We teach and equip motivated people how to bring their ideas to life. One-on-one coaching alongside our proven 6-week framework — for founders who need a real person in their corner, not just another guide.

The Real Gap

Most People Don't Get Stuck on Motivation. They Get Stuck on the Next Step.

You have an idea. Maybe you've had it for months. Maybe years. You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even tried something — but you're still standing at the starting line.

Most people don't get past this point because they lack motivation. They get stuck because they don't have a clear next step — and they don't have someone honest in their corner who's already walked the road.

Business launch coaching is that next step. Six weeks of structured, 1:1 work with the framework that's launched coffee businesses, ministries, nonprofits, and side hustles into real, paying ventures. Not theory. Not pep talks. Just the next right thing — and the accountability to actually do it.

What I Help With

Capabilities Across Business Launch Coaching

One discipline. Many angles. Pick the work that matches where you are.

Weekly 1:1 Strategy Sessions

Live coaching every week through the 6-week launch framework. Real conversation, real feedback, real decisions — built around your specific idea, audience, and constraints.

Idea Validation Coaching

Stop wondering if friends are just being nice. We'll walk through real validation conversations, score viability honestly, and tell you what to test next — or whether to pivot.

Minimum Viable Launch Planning

Strip away what doesn't matter. Launch the simplest version that actually serves people — without three months of website-building or perfection paralysis.

First-Customer Outreach Support

Templates for your asks, accountability for sending them, and feedback on how to respond when someone says yes. The first ten people you invite matter more than any audience-building strategy.

Between-Session Support

Voxer or email access between calls. When you're stuck, you don't wait a week — you get a real person in your corner in hours.

Post-Launch Decision Framework

Once you have real data from your first customers, we work through keep / pivot / pause clarity together. Decide based on evidence, not emotion.

NewCulture (Founder Story)

Jon used the same framework to launch a coffee roasting business out of his garage — from validation to first customers to a real brand.

And again with The Ancient Way, Kavodah, Revayah Paper Co., and NewCulture Consulting. The framework works because it's been walked.

Revayah Coffee

Garage roasting to real brand in year one — 2,000+ lbs roasted, 500+ orders, 250+ happy customers.

Started small. Validated. Launched. Grew through real relationships.

Savior Guitar (Goldsboro, NC)

Idea to live business in 7 days.

Local NC guitar repair shop, launched lean, ranking in the Map Pack week one.

Kid Lab (Raleigh, NC)

Built from launch — brand, digital presence, and the foundation for a nonprofit playspace and art studio.

Meet Jon Horton

I'm Jon — founder of NewCulture, based in Clayton, NC. For 20+ years I've helped organizations build the digital presence they need: from a guitar shop in Goldsboro to ministries reaching 100+ countries.

I've worked with Red Hat, NewSpring Church, BibleProject, and Holy Language Institute — and with local Raleigh-area nonprofits like The Ancient Way and Kid Lab. The framework I bring to your business is the same one I've built NewCulture on.

Frequently Asked Questions

The guide is the framework — self-paced, $67, do it on your own time. The coaching is the framework plus a real person walking it with you. Weekly 1:1 sessions, honest feedback, and accountability between sessions. Most clients get both — start with the guide, upgrade to coaching when they want a person in their corner.

Six weeks by default, mirroring the framework. Some clients extend into a second six weeks for the post-launch growth phase. We'll talk about what makes sense for your specific situation.

No. Week 1 is exactly for getting clarity on what you're actually building. If you have a vague sense of direction but no clear plan, that's a perfect starting point.

Typically $1,200–$1,800 for the 6-week intensive, depending on scope and the level of between-session support you want. We'll quote specifics after a discovery conversation.

Most clients launch some version of their idea within the 6 weeks because the framework is built to make that achievable. If life intervenes or the idea needs more validation work, we'll adjust — the goal is real progress, not arbitrary deadlines.

Most business coaches give you mindset, vision, and accountability. We do all of that, but the work is also built around an execution framework with real worksheets, validation steps, and decisions. You leave with a launched business, not just a clearer vision board.

Yes — and we love this work. The framework works for any new initiative: a launch, a course, a community gathering, a program. Same principles, same accountability, applied to your mission.

Yes. The framework is explicitly designed for people working 2–3 hours a week alongside a full-time job. Coaching just helps you stay focused and make better decisions with the limited time you have.
